Please don’t turn your head no more.
Please don’t close your eyes no more.
We cannot keep on ignoring and pretending that Our Mother Earth (ME) is doing just fine.
In recent years, we have witnessed the increasing impacts of global warming on our planet. From devastating wildfires and intense hurricanes to melting glaciers and rising sea levels, the signs are unmistakable. Extreme weather patterns are disrupting agriculture, causing food insecurity for millions. Species are facing extinction at an alarming rate as their habitats become uninhabitable. It's no longer a distant problem but a stark reality affecting communities, ecosystems, and livelihoods worldwide.
Let us not ignore the voices of scientists who have meticulously documented the rise in global temperatures and the alarming rate of biodiversity loss. Let us not ignore the pleas of communities facing displacement due to coastal erosion or agricultural disruption. Let us not ignore the ethical imperative to safeguard our planet for future generations. Most importantly let us not ignore the voices of our children.
Yes, children have been actively involved in protesting and advocating for real action on global warming. This movement gained significant attention with initiatives like Fridays for Future, which was started by Greta Thunberg in 2018. Since then, children and youth around the world have been organizing strikes, marches, and other forms of activism to demand stronger measures to address climate change from their governments and global leaders. Beside Friday for Future, there are many more movements such as “Climate Strikes”, “Youth Climate Movement”, Zero Hour”, and “Sunrise Movement”. Youth-led climate strikes have been organized in cities across continents, with students walking out of schools to protest inaction on climate change. These strikes have often seen participation from thousands of students. Their involvement has highlighted the urgency of climate action and has contributed to shaping public discourse and policy decisions on this critical issue.
It's tempting to feel overwhelmed by the scale of the problem or to believe that individual actions won't make a difference.
Yet, every decision we make, from the products we buy to the policies we support, has an impact on our environment. By reducing our carbon footprint, advocating for sustainable practices, and holding policymakers accountable, we can contribute to meaningful change. Let’s take concrete steps towards a more sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that future generations inherit a planet that is healthy, vibrant, and capable of supporting life as we know it.
Let’s start choosing products that can coexist with nature and have sustainable value and teach our children moral responsibility to safeguard the well-being of all living beings on Earth. Let's not turn a blind eye to the reality of global warming. Instead, let's educate ourselves about its causes and consequences. Let's engage in open and constructive dialogues about how we can collectively address this challenge. Let's empower ourselves and others to take action, whether through lifestyle changes, community initiatives, or political advocacy. Let’s “Repurpose” from a cup of coffee with new concept coffee filter. By working together, we can build a future where clean air, safe water, and thriving ecosystems are not just a dream but a reality for generations to come.
Imagine how many resources can we save if we can transform waste coffee ground and coffee filter as shoe deodorant. There is no need to buy new shoe ball or deodorant that certainly contain plastic or tin. Plastic and tin are from natural resources such oil and minerals. Mining new resources means more carbon emissions. Production process to make such product also means more emissions of co2 into the air. Imagine how many energy in transporting coffee waste and filter paper from household to final landfill globally? This new concept allow coffee drinker to minimize energy consumption. Coffee drinkers only need to sun dry the waste coffee ground and instantly “Repurpose” it as a bad odor trap for smelly shoe in just 1-2 days. No energy required. Our planet is resilient, but it needs our concerted effort to heal and thrive. Let’s start greenlogic movement with us today. You will not regret it for the sake of our children’s future.
Every new stuff that we buy required new production process and also new raw material from mining. Even worse if we factoring carbon release during the process of goods, transportation, and material handling after used. Here are a small example how plastic and tin were made to satisfy our needs and wants.

U.S.A. generates 239 million
metric tons of garbage every year
International shipping caused
1,056 million tons of COâ‚‚ emmisions
International shipping expenditure estimated at 300 billion USD
Manufacturing expenditure can go over 13 million USD annually
Global oil-relate COâ‚‚ emmisions totalled at 11.5 billion tons
Costs of wholesale business in U.S.A ranges up to 786,000 USD annually
Waste incinerator costs 1,2 billion USD, processes 1 million tons waste per year
